Synopsis
Poli Díaz (Miguel Herrán) is a young man from Vallecas who, driven by a childhood marked by poverty and domestic violence, is forced to take refuge in boxing, eventually becoming an ’80s legend and even fighting for the world lightweight title. However, overwhelming success and fame drag him into a dangerous world of excess, drugs, and poor choices that threaten to destroy everything he has achieved with his fists. Caught in a constant back-and-forth between the “people’s champion” acclaimed by everyone and a vulnerable young man lacking the emotional tools to handle his own triumph, he will face a story of rise and fall where his greatest and toughest fight will no longer be in the ring, but against his own demons.
